The mirror rule in Oklahoma

Yes. Oklahoma (Okla. Stat. tit. 47, § 12-403) requires two mirrors. With the doors (and their mirrors) off you're down to the interior rearview, so add a driver-side (left) mirror, and ideally both sides, before you drive.

“Every motor vehicle shall be equipped with a mirror mounted on the left side of the vehicle and so positioned and located as to reflect to the driver a view of the highway to the rear”

Put your mirrors back

Your factory side mirrors ride on the doors. These mount to the hinges or the A-pillar so they stay when the doors don't. Every link goes to Amazon.

Fenders and mud flaps

All vehicles on the highway (except animal-drawn) that lack fenders over the rearmost wheels must have a rubber or fabric apron behind those wheels to limit spray. In effect, rear fenders or aprons are required on every vehicle. (Okla. Stat. tit. 47, § 12-405.3)

Do you need doors at all?

We didn't find any Oklahoma statute requiring doors, but we couldn't rule one out from the official code either. The equipment rules (mirrors first) are what usually draw a stop.

The left-side mirror is mandatory for all motor vehicles, so doors-off Wranglers need an aftermarket driver-side mirror.
